Our legal costs negotiation services include preparing schedules and assisting in the preparation of estimates of costs for allocation and listing questionnaires. What follows is a summary of the services we most commonly provide. 
 
BILLS OF COSTS

Our charges are £118 p/hr Grade D for run of the mill matters. We may charge more for larger bills which carry greater responsibility, but will only do so with your agreement. Our fees are normally recovered in full from the paying party.

SCHEDULES OF COSTS

We prepare Schedules of Costs for negotiation purposes. Our fee for this is charged at the current Grade D hourly rate. If the costs are not settled, this fee is included in the bill of costs for assessment and recovery sought.

ALLOCATION AND LISTING SCHEDULES

We prepare accurate Allocation and Listing Schedules which helps recovery of costs at detailed assessment. It demonstrates that your costs have been considered and planned. Our fee for this is calculated at Grade D £118 p/hr according to the type of matter.

NEGOTIATING / ASSESSMENT SERVICE

If required, we deal with all aspects of the negotiating and assessment process on your behalf. Charges for these services are by agreement, but we will always endeavour to make our charges cost neutral by seeking full recovery from the paying party.


ASSESSMENT HEARINGS

We can attend all detailed assessments as part of the advocacy service provided by our company which are chargeable at Grade C 


POINTS OF DISPUTE / REPLIES

We prepare Points of Dispute and Replies for your contested bills.


PART 8 PROCEEDINGS

We deal with the preparation and issue of Part 8 proceedings on your behalf and the assessment procedure following same.


TURNAROUND

We normally return files to you within 10 working days (slightly longer at exceptionally busy times) and will expedite urgent files at no extra cost. We are happy to work to a target date if provided upon file submission.
